We started Besties because finding queer community/friends in this city shouldn’t feel impossible! Besties Vol. 1 showed us that our community truly wants fun IRL experiences, we just needed an intentional space that fosters social connection to do it.

Massive love to the 50 of you who pulled up early for friend speed dating last time. Setting that foundation from the jump completely shifted the social energy for the entire night and carried right onto the dance floor afterwards. The vibes were 🔥

Friday September 25th, we’re back at The American to keep building this out. Whether this is your first time coming through solo to meet someone new, or you’re rolling in with your crew to expand the circle, this event is for you. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Never played? They’ll show you the ropes!

💬 Friend Speed Dating: Short, low-pressure rounds with custom conversation cards to break the ice. (DJs hold off so you can actually hear each other).

🕹️ Not into speed dating? No pressure. Grab a table, hit the arcade and pinball machines, play cards, or just ease in.

🍔 Hungry? Full food menu with sweet happy hour pricing.

🍹 Thirsty? Drink specials all night, plus tons of mocktails, NA options, and sodas if you’re keeping it sober.

At 9:30 PM, lights drop for dancing and a special live drag performance by Sassafrass! 👑✨
