At the heart of our inspiration lies Oweynagat (Uaimh na gCait), the legendary Cave of Cats in County Roscommon, Ireland. Long associated with Queen Medb and the goddess Morrigan, this sacred cave was believed to be a gateway to the Otherworld and is often connected to the origins of Samhain or Halloween itself. Legend tells that once each year, the Morrigan, Ireland's fierce battle goddess and shapeshifter, emerged from this cave as the veil between worlds grew thin.
