Do not miss this introductory training course on the principles and practical aspects of the Art Hives approach.
Art Hives 101 is a 7-hour hands-on training that provide you with the tools need to create free, public and inclusive third places, offering multiple opportunities for collective well-being through art making, dialogue, and skill sharing in neighbourhoods.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- Understand the founding principles and theories of art hives.
- Integrate the facilitation methods specific to this form of public practice arts.
- Review the variety of legal forms and funding models existing across the Art Hives Network.
PROGRAM STRUCTURE:
PART 1: Four one-hour modules to be viewed online at your own pace before March 14th (available starting February 21st, 2026).
PART 2: One live meeting on Zoom, Saturday March 14th, from 10 AM to 1 PM (Eastern) / 7 AM to 10 AM (Pacific):
World Cafe: An in-depth exploration of participants' questions and areas of interest.
