The Victoria Day Fireworks Event has been a cherished Dundas tradition since the late 1800s—bringing generations of families together to celebrate community, connection, and the start of summer.

The Dundas Lions Club is proud to host the 2026 Dundas Victoria Day Fireworks on Sunday, May 17 (2-10PM), in partnership with the City of Hamilton and the Rotary Club of Dundas Valley Sunrise, who have stewarded this beloved event for more than 25 years. Each year, approximately 15,000 community members gather at Dundas Driving Park for an unforgettable day of celebration, culminating in a spectacular fireworks display.

While the event remains free for all to enjoy, we rely on the generosity of our community to keep this tradition alive. Donations collected at the gate—and through supporters like you—go directly back into the community, supporting valuable local programs and organizations such as Dundas Minor Hockey, Flamborough-Dundas Minor Soccer, Santa4Seniors, Routes Youth Centre, Dundas Community Services, and the Dundas Easter Egg Hunt.

We appreciate that not everyone is able to attend in person, but many still wish to be part of something meaningful. By making a donation, you are not only helping to sustain this historic event—you are directly investing in local youth programs and community initiatives that make Dundas such a special place to live.
